Date of marriage to second wife, Nancy A. Hopper: 9 July 1851, Boone County, Missouri.

**********

William Boggs was quite prominent in Boone County. There are numerous mentions of him in relationship to railroad development and Whig politics in the Columbia Statesman newspaper.

Per Mary Frances Boggs, descendant.

**********

Date of marriage to First Wife Elizabeth Ballew

Madison County Kentucky Marriage Records Vol. 2, 1823-1851, compiled by Bill and Kathy Vockery, 1993, page 7 has:
Groom William BOGGS
Bride Elizabeth BALLEW
22 Sep 1823
Bondsman George BALLEW
Consent Thomas BALLEW, FB (father of the bride)

Bill and Kathy Vockery also published a huge listing of cemeteries, the old abandoned country ones in county, 1999
Cemetery Records of Madison County, Southern District, page 18 lists:
Mt. Zion Re-interment Cemetery

Thomas S. BALLEW 1 Mar 1779-1 Mar 1846
Fanny BALLEW wife of Thomas 3 Nov 1781-23 Aug 1854

(Fellow FAG members note:I do not know why the Vockerys referred to the Bluegrass Memorial Cemetery in their cemetery record book as the "Mt. Zion Re-interment cemetery." The Mt. Zion church has no cemetery and is some distance from the Bluegrass Memorial Cemetery where the Bluegrass Army Depot grave re-interments were made.)

Credits to Boggs322 (#48874672)
Old Joseph (#47237252) Debbie (FG member #47110408) for helping me establish and document this marriage - Theresa (#48691042)
