Services for Clinton LaDoyce Howell, 84, Canton, were held at noon Thursday, October 27, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel,Canton, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.
Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery, Martins Mill.
Mr. Howell died October 24,2005, in Canton.
He was born October 4, 1921,in Martins Mill, where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11 in the Burma and China theaters. He was a resident of Tyler, Houston and San Antonio prior to moving back to Canton,where he owned Frames & Things.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland and Allie Beggs Howell; and wife, Harmo Lou Easterwood Howell, in 2002.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dennis M. and Liesda Howell, Orange, Calif.;
grandchildren, Donna Howell,Duniu Russell, Michelle Novak,Michael Howell and Dita Howell; great-grandchildren,Sasha Howell, Elijah McClinton,Austin Howell and Alexia Howell; and other relatives.
