Charles Kirk McQuagge Sr., 67, of Panama City, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Panama City, Fla., and was a 1958 graduate of Bay High School. He was a member of Beachside Fellowship Church. He loved tennis and was active with the USTA Senior and Mixed Teams with "The Gang" at Edgewater Beach Resort. He is survived by two children, a son, Charles Kirk McQuagge Jr. of Cumming, Ga.; daughter, Pam Misita and husband, Bob, of Cumming, Ga.; two brothers, Jim McQuagge and wife, Susan, of Panama City, Fla., and Duncan "Hotshot" McQuagge of Panama City, Fla.; and a sister, Janene Ulmer and husband, Bill, of Panama City, Fla. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ramon Duvall officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Robert Padgett, Scotty Cotton, Jimmy Warren, Richard Mapes, Duncan McQuagge and Bill Ulmer.
