Ruth Tucker, d/o Jabez Tucker and Rebecca Knight, was a Rhode Island native born ca 1720. She married Jeremiah Colvin 23 Jun 1739 in Scituate, Providence Co., RI. They had four known children: Annah, Jabez, Levi and Lydia Colvin. All but Jabez, who died in Rhode Island, removed to Vermont in the mid-1770s.
Ruth's and Jeremiah's son Levi, their grandson David Niles and two sons-in-law [Stukely Thornton and Thomas Pell] served in the Clarendon militia during the Revolutionary War.
