Born Nov. 4, 1938, to the late Ernest "Slim" and Isabell Jasheway Greives Jasheway in Fowler, she attended Sacred Heart School in Fowler and was a 1956 graduate of Fowler High School.
Her marriage was to Darrell Grogan on June 1, 1957, in Fowler, and he survives.
Mrs. Grogan was a clerical receptionist at St. Elizabeth Medical Center for more than 17 years.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Mary's Rosary Sodality and the St. Rosa of Lima Study Club. She was a former member of the Boswell Community Ambulance Service and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dunnington.
Mrs. Grogan enjoyed sewing, making crafts, shopping and spending winters in Florida.
Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Lynette Finney (husband: Greg) of Independence; three sons, Jeff "Red" Grogan of Fowler, Mark "Jed" Grogan (companion: Jackie) of Ambia and Mike Grogan (wife: Kris) of Independence; and two brothers, E. Fred Jasheway (wife: Joyce) of Indianapolis and Edward J. Jasheway (wife: Mary) of Lafayette.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein., with rosary at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dunnington, Fathers Donald Gross and Ambrose Ziegler officiating. Interment St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Dunnington. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart School in Fowler.
