ISIDORA S. WALTERS Entered peacefully into rest in Hayward on December 23, 2005. She was 70 years of age. Born in Nicaragua on May 15, 1935, Isidora worked as a cook for 10 years at the St. Francis Nursing Home. She was a long time resident of San Leandro. Isidora was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker, who enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Isidora is survived by her loving children, Herbert O. Walters, Jr., Edgar B. Walters, and Albert J. Sedano; dear sisters Paula Waalkens and Juanita Stenner, as well as 4 more sisters who still live in Nicaragua; adoring grandchildren, Bryce and Ryan Walters; and many loving extended family and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert O. Walters, Sr. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. A vigil service will take place at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Thursday at St. Felicitas Catholic Church, 1662 Manor Blvd., San Leandro.
