Mrs. J. B. Turley, 71, sister of Mrs. W. G. Carter of this city, died at her home at Vienna this morning. She had been in failing health for several months. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
She leaves her husband and three children, Mrs. Thomas Daniel and Marion Turley of Vienna, and Mrs. Wm. Davis of Milwaukee, Wis. Another son, Lawrence, died a year ago last June. She also leaves six grand children, two sisters and one brother.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter drove to Vienna yesterday afternoon and visited Mrs. Turley, who became ill, but was feeling better before they left to return to Carbondale. A telephone message to Mrs. Carter stated that her sister died early this morning.
