She was a sales person at Berger Brothers in Wilmington, retiring in 1988 after 17 years service. She was a much loved and faithful servant of the Cedars United Methodist Church where for many years taught bible school.
"Auntie" is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Grace E. Mackay; and brothers, H. Wayne, Edward J., Wilmer E., William J., and Robert W. Abbott.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 1 pm, at Cedars United Methodist Church, Maple and Harrison Aves., The Cedars, Wilm., DE 19808 where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the church.
