Born to Edsel Ford, Sr. and Gertie Silas Ford. She was the third daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Ford. She was one of five children. Her siblings are Celeste Ford Terry, Sharon Ford, Debra Ford, and Edsel Ford, Jr.(deceased). She married Edward R. Hall, Jr. at Cabrini Catholic Church, New Orleans, LA on August 20, 1982. She loved and cared for Tanya Keva Hall, her daughter whom preceded her in death. Her son Edward R. Hall, III, was born on July 20, 1996. Patricia was baptized, confirmed and continued to express her faith for God while attending St. Paul's Catholic Church, New Orleans, LA. During her professional career, Mrs. Hall was employed by Gulf Oil, Amaco Oil, Shell Oil and British Petroleum. She was a Senior Geologist at Shell prior to transferring to British Petroleum where she became Regional Recruiting Manager. With this career change, came a move to Fulshear, Texas in July 2001, where she met new friends. She continued to worship at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, before moving her membership to Epiphany of The Lord Catholic Church in Katy, Texas. Mrs. Hall was responsible for advising individuals of career and employment opportunities, and scholarships. She presented at various professional meetings, and conferences, and made gift presentations to support graduate and minority students. She presented paleontology posters and taught at seminars for geologists, geophysicists and other earth scientists. Most recently, she worked as a Sr. Geologist at British Petroleum and continued to advance diversity in the geosciences. Mrs. Hall was actively involved in the NABGG (National Association of Black Geologists and Geophysicists). She served as president of the organization from 1992-1995. Her desire to expose students to the field of geology was dear to her heart. It became her lifetime goal to stimulate greater awareness of the geosciences and the career opportunities available in the earth sciences. Other professional affiliations with the, AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists), GSA (Geological Society of America), NSA (National Science Academy), CDEP(Cooperative Developmental Energy Program), NPC (National Petroleum Council), AGI (American Geological Institute), GEOFORCE-Texas, Fort Valley University, Penn State University, and the University of Texas afforded her many opportunities to mentor and encourage others in the geosciences. Among her many accomplishments Patricia was a licensed pilot and was one of twenty six finalist with NASA trained to become an astronaut. Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, devoted husband and friend of 26 years Edward R. Hall, Jr., loving son, Edward R. Hall, III, and a host of other relatives, co-workers and friends.
