Alice Bernetta Hofeling Sprague, age 70, died on February 11, 1990 in Salt Lake City.


Born June 27, 1919 in Salt Lake City to Frank A. and Alice Marie Sessions Hofeling.


Married Henry William Sprague on January 27, 1936 in Salt Lake. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1968. Alice loved the outdoors, especially fishing. She had a special love for children. She worked at the fairgrounds and at Bonneville Raceway for many years.


Survived by four sons and their wives, Bill and Wanda, West Valley; Ray and Colleen, Salt Lake; Jerry and Sandra, Draper; Roger and Cheri, Salt Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Milo (Ranae) Anderson, Fillmore, Utah; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Laura Nelson, Bernice Brown and Margie Waggoner, all of Salt Lake City.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 1990 at 12 noon in the Riverside Ward Chapel, 500 North 1100 West. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and at the Ward Chapel on Thursday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Bountiful Memorial Park.
