Emelton Antoine "Molly" Molaison, 91, a native of Donner and resident of Theriot, died at 2:29 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Wilda Boudreaux Molaison; four children, Emelton "Moe" or "Poose" A. Molaison Jr. and wife, Geralyn, Judith Molaison Billiot and husband, Philton, Thomas "Tommy" Molaison and wife, Patrice, all of Theriot, and Mary "Beth" Molaison Gautreaux and husband, Donald, of Houma; 13 grandchildren, Stephen Molaison and wife, Celeste, of Thibodaux, Monica Molaison Borque and husband, Scott, of Milton, John Allen Billiot of Houma, Angela Billiot Lowrey and husband, Matt, of Benton, Ark., Buffy Billiot of Theriot, Jody Billiot of Houma, Melanie Molaison Daigle and husband, Gary, of Bayou Blue, Natasha Molaison, Lee Molaison and wife, Stephanie, Joshua Molaison and wife, Lauren, of Theriot, Marie Billiot of Thibodaux, Celeste Gautreaux and Donald "Joey" Gautreaux Jr. of Houma; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Celeste Boudreaux Molaison; two sisters, Irma Molaison Molaison and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Molaison Breaux; three brothers, Oscar, Morris and Willis Molaison; and one great-grandchild, Brayden Molaison.

He was an airplane mechanic in the Army Air Corps and a veteran of World War II. He was a tank builder in the oilfield, a carpenter, owner of E.A. Molaison Grocery and Molly's Place saloon on Bayou Dularge and a bridge tender.

He had a big heart and loved his family. He enjoyed gardening, reading the Times Picayune newspaper and watching the world news.
