Patricia McEwan Wilson
Memorial services for Patricia McEwan Wilson will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church of Corvallis.

Mrs. Wilson, 62, of 1400 NW Vista Place, died of heart failure Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born January 19, 1925 in Portland to Robert and Jeanette Brandberg McEwan. She attended Franklin High School and later Oregon State University.

Mrs. Wilson descended from Owen McEwan, a British soldier of the American Revolution. McEwan's grandson immigrated to Oregon, settling in Corvallis. Her great-great grandfather, O. C. Motley, became Benton County's first sheriff and her great-great-great grandfather led a wagon train to Oregon in 1846, acquiring land between Corvallis and Lewisburg.

She was married on July 12, 1947 to Robert C. Wilson.

From 1950 until her death, Mrs. Wilson was a partner with her husband in their construction business.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and the Assistance League, all of Corvallis.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, Robert C. Wilson of Corvallis; four daughters, Patricia Lowe of Gresham, Nancy Drennon of Lincoln, California, Susan Wilson of Portland and Cindy Nicholas of Irvine, California; her mother Jeannette McEwan of Portland, a brother, Robert R. McEwan of Gearhart: four grandchildren: and a niece and a nephew.

Visitation will be at McHenry Funeral Home, on Monday from 5 to 7 pm. and on Tuesday from 10 am to noon.

The family suggests remembrances be made to Benton County Foundation for the Patricia Wilson Living Scholarship in care of McHenry Funeral Home, 206 NW 5th St, Corvallis, Ore. 97330
