Olline O'Quin, 70, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood South.
Mrs. O'Quin was born March 30, 1938 in Tylertown to W.T. and Berlyn Rushing. Having come from Jayess, she lived in the Jackson area since 1969 and was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church.
Mrs. O'Quin is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lynn O'Quin; parents, W.T. and Berlyn Rushing; son, Greg O'Quin; brother, A.V. Rushing; and sister, Earline Blackwell.
Survivors include her son, Gary O'Quin (Melinda) of Byram; daughter, Sherry McLaurin (Gary) of Terry; sisters, Golda Mae Bridges of AL, Delores Barbazon of LA and Pam Culotta of LA; grandchildren, Kristi Reed, Bryan O'Quin, Natalie McLaurin and Evan McLaurin; great grandchild, Maddie Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.
