Cemetery records show death as suicide, carbolic acid. The death cert. has the same. Female, white, single. I think there may have been an error on the father as listed as J W Morris of Arkansas, mother as Mattie Eastham of Missouri. Occupation was laundry helper for Hunts laundry. Informant was Mrs. Mattie Adams on Agnes St. in KC MO. Died in General Hospital in KC. MO.
Mattie was the wife of Alolph Morris, and the dates of the children would coincide with Grace being the child of Adolph. I think the initial should have been A W for birth father. I do not at this time have a middle intiail or name for Adolph. I have attached him as the parent of Grace.
It appears that Mattie has re-married and now surname of Adams, and that may explain why she is not here with her family. She may be buried beside her second husband.
