Grace Elizabeth Hogge Riportella, 88, of Norfolk, departed this life on April 1, 2006 at Norfolk General Hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of Leonard J. Riportella. She was born in old Princess Anne County and was raised in old Norfolk County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha O. Hogge, and her father, Paul M. Hogge, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Anthony P. Riportella of Norfolk and Leonard P. Riportella of Chesapeake, two brothers, Paul M. Hogge, Jr of Norfolk and Lonnie R. Hogge of Christiansburg, VA, a sister, Margaret E. Hogge of Chesapeake, two grandchildren, Jennifer L. and Brian J. Riportella, and two great grandchildren, Brianna E. Mansfield and Lillianna M. Riportella. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00a.m. in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Burial will be at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 8:00p.m.
