A. J. Mitchell of Leesdale, a well-to-do merchant, died suddenly at his home last Friday evening. Mr. Mitchell had not been well for some days, but no alarm was felt over his condition. He ate supper on the night he died. Death was due to heart failure.
Burial took place at Mt. Tabor last Saturday. Services were conducted by James E. Lee.
