Frank Bindel, 67, native and life-long resident of Muenster and a retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home. Death came while he slept.
Funeral services with Requiem Mass were held Thursday morning at 9:30 in Sacred Heart Church and burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery under direction of Nick Miller Funeral Home. Father Benedict was officiating minister and delivered the funeral sermon.
Frank Bindel was born in Muenster on Jan. 30, 1901. He married the former Miss Marie Fleitman on Nov. 24, 1925. She died Jan. 19, 1967.
Surviving are five sons, Wilfred and Harold of Muenster, Gerald of Arlington, Leonard of Carrollton and Gilbert of Gainesville; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold Wimmer of Muenster, Mrs. William Koerner of Pilot Point, and Mrs. C.L. Livingston of Myra; 22 grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. John Grewing and Mrs. Bill Derichsweiler, both of Muenster and Mrs. Fred Steinberger of Windthorst, and one brother, Herman Bindel of Windthorst.
