KEWANEE, IL - Maxine E. Wormer, 88, of Kewanee, formerly of the Bartonville and Peoria area, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at 11:38 p.m. at Kewanee Hospital in Kewanee.
She was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Mount Vernon, Ill., to Roy and Ester (Kell) Newman. She married William Wormer on Nov. 3, 1945, in Bartonville. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Her parents and one sister also preceded her in death.
Maxine is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
