Effie Roberts was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Wisconsin in her teens. she married on Dec.25,1880 John Johnson Berg of
Norway. They had one daughter Leavy Olava Lade in Wisconsin then moved out west to Washington state where they had Laura,Elvie,Myrtle,victor and Adrian. They lived in La Center, Clark County for many years. John disappeared sometime after 1905 and Effie moved with her family to Portland where she remained until her death.
Unfortunately after 30 years of searching I have still not been able to locate her parents William and Lydia Roberts.
Effie was my great-grandmother.
In the Middle picture Effie is the one in the middle. On the left is her daughter Leavy Olava Moe (My Grandmother) on the right of her is her daughter Laurie.
