START, Feb. 18 (Special) — T. J. Drummond, 77, died here at _ p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be at the Start Baptist Church Sunday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. J. S. Deal, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery at Girard under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kate Drummond, Start; two sons, C. R. Drummond, Tallulah; T. D. Drummond, Rivervale, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Willie Robinson, Mrs. Lena Hardy, Mrs. Jessie Williams, all of Start; two brothers, the Rev. W. D. Drummond, Shreveport; Elbert Drummond, Raleigh, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Beckie Thornton, Raleigh, Miss.; 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Start Baptist Church. The body will be taken to the residence at Start to lie in state there until time for funeral services.

Pallbearers will be N. R. Trisler, Jesse Watts, Hinton Watts, Jackson Bennett, Pete Seymour, Lillian Whitten.
