FRANKLIN — Services for Miranda Leigh Alexander, 16, of Marquez were set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Leon High School Auditorium.
The Rev. Billy Bob Evans of Marquez Baptist Church officiated.
She was buried in Seale-Round Prairie Cemetery in the Seale community.
Miranda died as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born in Bryan and was a sophomore at Leon High School.
In 2005, Miranda was the FFA President, and Head Cheerleader, had been a Varsity Cheerleader for three years.
In 2004, she was FFA Sentinel, Regional Qualifier in the 1600 Meter Relay, on the State-Runner up Volleyball Team, Voted Most Beautiful, Voted Homecoming Princess, Won the Championship in the county show, and a Student Counsel Member.
In 2002-2003, She was an FFA Green Hand, and received the FFA Top Hand Discovery Award
Miranda was an active member of Marquez Baptist Church, and worked at Anthony's Restaurant in Jewett.
Survivors include her parents, Keith and Theresa Padgett of Marquez and Warren Alexander of Stigles, Okla.; three sisters, Mindy Alexander and Chelsie Padgett, both of Marquez, and Dena Stewart of Concord; her grandparents, Carroll Ray Love of Houston, Emma Reagan of Bald Prairie, Henry and Nelda Padgett of Marquez and R.C. and Johnnie Guajardo of Franklin; and numerous other relatives.
