Myrtle D. Engle, of Fort Wayne, passed away quietly on March 12, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on February 12, 1927, in Garrett, KY, to the late John and Rhoda Neeley. She was a devoted mother and had many dogs and a few cats over the years.
She is survived by a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren. Her husband, Dr. Charles Engle, passed away in 1973.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne.. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to St. Matthew’s Food Pantry or Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry.”
Mother’s maiden name was Rhoda Manns.
