===Original Bio by Sandra Moore follows===
"Wife of Lucius L. Warner and mother of Edward L. Warner

She is the daughter of Benjamin Lafurge and Sophia Freer.

Her mother, Sophia is a direct descendant of Hugo Freer, the famous founder of New Paltz, Ulster, NY and one of the two French Hugeuenot settlements escaping religious persecution back in the 1600's.

Information on this family came from The Freer Family Documents."

==========================================

Dorothy "Dolly" Jane (LeFurge) Warner was the 2nd of 9* children born to Benjamin Le Furge/La Furge and his wife, Sophia Freer. Sophia is likely a direct descendant of Hugo Freer the Patentee, one of the original New Paltz, Ulster, NY settlers who settled the area while escaping religious persecution in France in the 1600s. I am still researching this family line to determine Sophia's parents, and thus connect the family.
