Mary Elizabeth Lanz Walker of Bedford died November 25, 1998 at Hospitality House, Bedford. Born April 7, 1900 in Charlestown, IN, she was the daughter of Charles William and Laura Bell (Barthel) Lanz. She married Charles Weber Walker on June 15, 1927 and he died July 1, 1979.
Surviving is one niece, Suzanne Lanz Short of Bedford. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lillie Mae Lanz Sears, Josie Lanz Carter and Louise Lanz; and two brothers, George M. Lanz and Harve W. Lanz.
She was a homemaker and member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Bedford.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on December 1 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN, with the Rev. Susan Mills officiating.
