Funeral service for Loudeen Fields Hockersmith will be 10 a.m., Fri., March 7, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Jack Demico officiating. Burial will be held on Mon. in Colorado City, CO. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 1-8 p.m.

Loudeen went to be with our Lord, Sun., March 2, 2008, at her home in Claremore at the age of 73.

The daughter of Jacob and M. Bertha (Shepherd) Fields was born Sept. 23, 1934, in Sunset, AR. Her family moved to Buena Park, CA, when she was four. Lou grew up attending the Pentecostal Church of God. After she was married, she and her husband, Bill, relocated to Colorado. Lou was a retired waitress. She had lived in Claremore for the past 4 months moving from Arkansas, and attended Foyil Assembly of God.

Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hockersmith in 1995; parents; son, Michael W. Kemp; grandson, Eddie Michael Kemp; brothers: Desse "Dee" and Bernie Fields; and sisters: Ruby R. and Laura P. Fields.

Survivors include her sons: Eddie D. Kemp and wife, Tammie of McMinniville, OR, and Darryell Hockensmith and wife, Heather of Colorado City, CO; brother, Earnie Fields and wife, Dorothy of Claremore; sister, Lore An Bradford and husband, Bill of Rogers, AR; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
