Addie Drema Brewer, 78, of Ronda, went to be with the Lord February 21, 2009 in Hubbard Hospice House.
Drema was a devoted Christian who loved God and her church. She attended the Hughes Creek Church of God. Drema loved gardening, cooking, and most of all her grand babies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Brewer, Jr; parents, Henry and Mintie Rankin; brothers, William Rankin and Roy Rankin; and sister, Mary E. Brewer.
She is survived by sons, Eugene Brewer and his wife, Barbara Dawn of Ronda, David Brewer and his wife, Pat of Summersville; and daughter, Brenda Smith and her husband, Rusty of Sharon; brothers, James Rankin of Rock Fort, Jessie Rankin of Cambridge, Ohio; and sisters, Ethel Brewer of Cambridge, Ohio, Pauline Davis of Stuart, Fl., Hazel Walton of Diamond, WV and Reba Prino of Huntington, WV; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 23 at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank with Reverend John Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
A gathering of friends and family will be 6-8p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
