Services Set Today For Wreck Victim
Morton, March 12. (Special) – Funeral services for Mrs. H. B. Abbe, 52, the South Plains’ 21st traffic fatality of 1953 when she was killed Wednesday near Hale Center, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Morton Church of Christ.
Burial will be in the Morton Cemetery under the supervision of the Singleton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Abbe, who had resided in this area the past 20 years, is survived by her husband; two sons, Charles and Mitchell, both Plainview; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Medlin, Bentonville, Ark., Mrs. Carrie Kirkpatrick, Springsdale, Ark., and Mrs. Edith Cox, New York City; and one brother, Marvin Coleman, Ackerly.
