Bill D. Matthews, 70, died Jan. 8, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis.
He was married to Grace Matthews and she survives, residing in Wentzville.
Mr. Matthews was a teacher for St. Charles Community College for 15 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Alisa Blattel, O'Fallon; two brothers, Paul Matthews, Lee's Summit, Bobby Matthews, Greenville; two grandchildren.
The funeral was held Jan. 11 at Zion Lutheran Church in Harvester. Burial was in the church cemetery.
