Earnest Neal Joines, 53, of Bay City, died [July 9, 1980] in Bay City. He was born on September 26, 1926 in Deutschburg, Texas. He was a city employee. Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Nettie Mae Joines of Bay City; four sisters, Mrs. Lorine Schmersahl of Sweeny, Mrs. Margaret Richardson of Matagorda, Mrs. Charles Burt of Bay City and Mrs. Vernon Hunt of Palacios. Funeral services will be held at the Sixth Street Church of Christ at 2 p.m. on Friday and interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Arrangements are with Jackson County Funeral Home.
