MARYSVILLE --- Robert Charles Walters, 82, Marysville, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at a Marysville hospital.

Mr. Walter worked in purchasing for the Georgia Pacific Gypsum Plant south of Marysville. He also was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He was born June 6, 1918, in Ellis, the son of Alois P. Walters and Clara Basgall. He graduated from Hays High School and attended the University of Southern California. He moved to Marysville in September 1963.

He married Carolyn M. Holloway on April 8, 1950. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Weickert, Pickrell, Neb.; and two granddaughters.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Marysville Cemetery.
