David LeSueur, (I) was born ca. 1667

He was a "weaver" and was of French descent.

He was known as the "The Elder" by Camern Allen, articles published in "The American Genealogist" (1963 and 1964), was living in England by about 1698. He was a weaver by trade.

Being a "French Huguenot," he was banished during the reign of Louis XV because of his Protestant religion. He went first to Switzerland, then probably to Germany and Holland before arriving in England where he married Catherine Fell of London, England.
