Walker A. Gillman, who has lived all of his life in the Bayard neighborhood, died Wednesday at his home, following a lingering illness. He was 61 years old. Mr. Gillman was born in the Osage Valley district and engaged in oil drilling and farming.

He leaves his wife and four children, Mrs. Emma Lucas, Fulton, Kan., Mrs. Vera Kamping, Gold Hill, Ore., Wayne Gillman, Humboldt, and Wendell Gillman, Iola. He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Grace Westrick, Long Beach, Mrs. Lula Garrison, LaHayne and Mrs. Verna Bolyard, Moran; five brothers, Walter and Dewey of Bayard; Freeman of Washington State; Clarence of Mildred and Ralph of California.

Burial will be at the Fairview cemetery.
