Betty M. Frank, 82, formerly of New Holland, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home from cancer.

Born November 8, 1926 in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Gaul) Hostetter. Her husband, Floyd B. Frank, died in 1997. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening and fishing.

Surviving are three sons, David L., married to Faye (Means) Frank of New Holland, James H., married to Cynthia (Houck) Frank of Lancaster, and Ronald E. Frank of New Holland; a daughter, Debra J., married to William Means of New Holland; six grandchildren, Kim Frank, Jason, married to Crystal (Keifer) Frank, Melissa, married to Jonathan Long, Travis Frank, Keri Frank, and Amanda Means; five great grandchildren; four step grandchildren, Brenda, married to John Showalter, John, married to Crystal (Dixon) Means, Lisa, married to Tom Plank, and Cory Buzzard; four step great grandchildren; a step great-great granddaughter; and two sisters, Verdna Good, and Betty's twin sister, Jean, married to Frank Bursa both of Lancaster.

Preceding her in death is a brother, Carl Hostetter, and two sisters, Florence Querry and Bea Flynt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with the Chaplain Bill Carris officiating. Interment will be in the Ranck's United Methodist Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 1-2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603.
