Services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Albee, 46, who died Friday after a long illness, were conducted from the Beatty chapel Tuesday, May 22, with the Rev. Kenneth Briggs, officiating.
Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
Mrs. Albee was born Dec. 2, 1909, at Hutson and resided all her life in Idaho. She attended schools in Caldwell and graduated from the University of Idaho in 1932. She taught school at Potlach high school until 1935.
She was married to Harold Albee June 12, 1935, at Huston and they moved in the same year to Eden. They moved to Emmett in 1940 and except for one year had resided here since that time.
Mrs. Albee was an active worker in the farm bureau and with 4-H work. She was named Gem County's Woman of the Year for 1956.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons, John and Earl; and one daughter Ann, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Sweep, Homedale, Mrs.Rosemarie Van Slyke, Wilder, and Mrs. Alpha Houston, Caldwell; and one foster brother, Martin Wood, Stanford, Mont.
