Stair Fall Fatal to W.S. Calvert
Ward Shaw Calvert, 62, Omaha insulating company salesman who fractured his skull in a fall about 1 a.m. at the Legion Club, died at Doctors Hospital at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Mr. Calvert was one of about 25 company employees who attended a dinner meeting at the club.
He was taken to the hospital in a police ambulance. Mr. Calvert, who lived at a downtown hotel, was a city salesman for the company, and previously had worked at the Mead (Neb.) Ordnance Plant.
He is survived by a son in California. The Burket Funeral Home is in charge.
