Mathilda Frances Hoyt Lachowsky, 98, of Wooster, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. She passed away at Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR, while on an extended visit with her nephew in Gainesville, MO. Mathlida was born on October 10, 1910 in Adona, AR, to the late George and Anna Nord Hoyt and was one of nine children. She was married to the late Anton E. Lachowsky, former owner of Anton's Electric in Conway, who passed away in 1969. She was a lifelong housewife and has no children.
Mathilda lived on South Harkrider St., in Conway, for many years with Anton's late sister Helen, who operated the electric business for some 14 years after Anton's death, until Helen's own sudden departure. Mathilda was a lifelong Catholic and a long-time member of St. Joseph Parish in Conway.

Those left to mourn her passing are her only remaining sibling Beatrice Velte of Clarksville, AR; many nieces and nephews, including Gale Velte of Conway and Arthur Hoyt, Jr. of Gainesville, MO ( formerly of Wooster).

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, at St. Joseph Cemetery. The wake will be held at 6:30 p.m. with family visitation to follow at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
