A native of Putnam County, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Molly Pickard Wall. She was married to the late Claire Cole Fisher.
Her family includes two daughters, Barbara Ann Edle of Accokeek, MD and Martha Clair Redsecker of Centreville, MD; and five grandchildren.
