Cynethe Allen Zurcher, 89, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Zurcher was born in Conway on December 28, 1918, a daughter of the late John G. Allen and Margaret Orilla Martin Allen. She grew up in Horry Co. and lived most of her life in Georgetown Co. Mrs. Zurcher was a member of Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church and widow of William Argo Zurcher.

Survivors include: three sons, Archie C. Zurcher, Hubert Zurcher, and John G. "Bobby" Zurcher, all of Georgetown; a daughter, Bernice Z. Bunch of Moncks Corner; a brother, J. B. Allen of McCall; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Friday morning, January 18, 2008, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Randy Zurcher. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
