George William Cradduck was the 1st of 7 children born to James Clay Cradduck and Sarah Elizabeth Blevins.

George and Ruth Freeman were married July 29, 1916 in Ada, Oklahoma.

Services for George W. Cradduck, 76, Harden City, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fittstown Baptist Church. Joe Howry will conduct the rites with burial in Highland Cemetery, Stonewall.

Mr. Cradduck died Sunday in a local hospital.

He was born Dec. 17, 1899, in Van Buren, Ark., and came to this area as a youth.

On July 29, 1916, he married Ruth Freeman who preceded him in death on Oct. 17 of this year. Mr. Cradduck was a retired laborer.

Survivors include one son, Lonnie Cradduck, Harden City; four sisters, Bertie Sherrell, Harden City, Dora Jumper, Stratford, Dovie Byrd, Ada, and Pauline Sanders, Davis; two brothers, James A. Cradduck, Anson, Tex., and J.C. Cradduck, Gladewater, Tex., and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
