William Coy Gaines, 55, of the Cools Springs section of Horry County was dead on arrival at a local hospital Tuesday.
Funeral services will be at the 2 pm Thursday at Goldfinch Funeral Chapel with interment in Aynor Cemetery.
Mr. Gaines was born in Chatman County North Carolina, son of the late Luther Edgar and Hassie Andrew Gaines, and was employed by Parker Lumber Co in Mullins.
Surviving are three brothers Thomas Charlie Gaines, Greensboro NC, and Walter Mack and Archer Edgar Gaines of Burlington NC and two sisters Mrs. JI Breedlove, Burlington and Mrs. John Cronk, Patterson NJ.
