Hannah Elizabeth Smalley Ayres, b. 5/19/1832, Franklin Co., Ind., d. 7/1/1906, Kansas, dau. of William Smalley and Harriet C. Cassady. Wife of John Henry Ayres.∼Died at the home in Richland township Mrs. Hanna E. Ayers, wife of John H. Ayers, at the age of 74.
She was born in Franklin county, Indiana, and married John H. Ayers, on January 16, 1851. In 1857, the came to this county, settling in Richland township. Mr. Ayers died twenty years ago.
She's survived by eight children, Mrs. B. C. Totten of California, Mrs. Lee Bucklew, Mrs. J. C. Clark Mrs. C. C. Crist, Mrs. John Cherry and John N. Ayers of Richland township, William H. Ayers, of Miami township, and George Ayers of Kansas City.

She was born in Franklin county, Indiana, and married John H. Ayers, on January 16, 1851. In 1857, the came to this county, settling in Richland township. Mr. Ayers died twenty years ago.
