Ruby Edith (Shull) Lamb, 87, Macon, died Friday evening, Jan 7, at Loch Haven Nursing Home, Macon.

The body was cremated. Memorial services are pending under the direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield.

Mrs. Lamb, daughter of W. P. and Mary (Harmon) Richardson, was born Jan. 18 1906, in Westville, near Marceline.

She attended grade school in Westville and graduated from Marceline High School and Kirksville State Teachers College. She taught school at Raub and Smith Center, near Marceline, and Crunn School, near Mendon. She and Arthur Lee Shull were married in 1929, in Chillicothe, and moved to a farm near Mendon.

He died Jan. 29, 1944. She subsequently moved to Mendon, and owned and operated Ruby's Drug and Sundries store for several years. She and Stanley R. Lamb were married April 15, 1950, in Bentonville, Ark. He survives of the home.

The family moved to Van Nuys, Calif, in 1952. She worked for a large department store there, as manager and buyer in the men's and boys' wear department. After retirement, the Lambs sold their home and moved back to Missouri, locating in Macon in 1981.

Also surviving are a son, Gary Lee Shull, Phoenix, Ariz; two brothers, Norman Richardson, Gladstone, and Marvin Richardson, Sacramento, Calif; a sister, Bertha Ailor of Michigan state, four granddaughters; one grandson, six great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Freeman, Moberly, and Bessie Richardson, Chillicothe, and several other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mildred Haley, Mary Frances DeWitt, and Fern Helen Naeyaert, and five brothers, Harlen, Russell, Herbert, Wilford, and John. She was a member of the Marceline Christian Church.
