Obituary: Barclay -- Jaunita Hannah Barclay, age 90, went home to her precious Lord Jesus on March 13, 2003 in Albuquerque. Born Wanetta Hiawatha Hannah of Cherokee and Scottish parentage, she lived in Oklahoma Indian Territory until her teens when she moved to Arizona with a sister. There she married Frank Herbert Yoakum and had a daughter, Frankie, who survives her and lives in Bernalillo, NM with her husband, Otis Rose. Surviving grandchildren are Norie, her husband, Frank and son, David and Thomas Rose and son, Christopher. Later in life she married Richard Netz and was in the restaurant business with him for 35 years. From this marriage numerous stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren call Jaunita their mother and grandmother. She had a great love for all of her children, and they were a blessing to her. After being widowed, she married Charles Barclay in Phoenix, AZ and lived with him until he passed away. Jaunita had a special love for vibrant colors and was an accomplished artist, producing many beautiful oil paintings throughout her life. She is also survived by Velmer Ashley who was so dear to her; two half-sisters, Lois Colvin and LaVida Seminera and their families of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends, each of whom she cherished. After cremation Jaunita will rest beside her father, William"Buck" Hannah at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix. A Memorial Service will be held in Phoenix during April. The family wishes to thank the staff at Las Palomas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and loving concern given to our Mother during her time there.
