OGDEN
Charles Beveridge, 73, pensioner railroad worker, died early Wednesday at the family home, 2849 Eccles Avenue, following a prolonged Illness.
-Mr Beveridge was born January 16 1862 In Scotland and moved with his late parents Charles and Katherine Beveridge to the United States in 1865. He lived for some years In Pennsylvania and then he moved with his family to Almy Wyo., later coming to Ogden, UT. He married Louise Katherine in Logan in 1889. He had been employed by the Southern Pacific railroad and the Ogden Union RaIlway & Depot Company for a number number of years and was pensioned January 2, 1935. Mr. Beveridge was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen and of the L. D. S. church.
-Surviving are his widow, a son and daughter. Mrs. P K Goddard of Ogden, and Wilford T. Beveridge, Salt Lake City; two a sisters, Mrs Agnes Russell, Ogden, and Mrs Janet Bell, Salt Lake City, and four our grandchildren.
-Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2pm in the Ogden L.D.S. seventh ward chapel by Bishop Earl S. S Paul. Burial will be in the Ogden City Cemetery under direction of Lindquist & Sons Mortuary.
