Irene Hart died the 21st at the age of 66 years at the home of her brother, George A. Flint on East Street, Gainesville. She was cared for by Mr. and Mrs. George Flint and other relatives during a long painful battle with cancer. They cared for her tenderly and all that could be done for her was, her death brought her peace.
She was born July 1, 1846 in Gainesville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Flint. Irene Flint was united in marriage in 1871 to William E. Hart who died October 21, 1874. She leaves a brother, George A. Flint of Gainesville; a sister, Mrs. Edward Hicks of Cuba; and two grandchildren. The funeral was held on Thursday, from her late home, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Gainesville.
