Ada May Price was born 1878 in Camden County, Missouri to Andrew Jackson Price and Julia Anne Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Price and Rebecca Craddock, and her maternal grandparents were Robert Alexander Brown and Sarah Rogers. Ada's family lived in the Mayfield Township of Laclede County, close to the Camden County border.
She married William H. McCulley, a farmer, about 1915 in Laclede County, Missouri. The couple lived in Laclede County for quite a few years and had two children born there -- Ralph P. (b. 1916) and Leonard (b. 1919). The family moved to Orange County, CA about 1920-1923, and there had a son, Howard (ca 1922). By January 1926 the family had moved back to Missouri, where their daughter, Alice, was born. By 1930 Leonard McCulley was no longer in the household; since he would have been only 11, he apparently died, either in Missouri or California, before 1930.
Ada died in Richland, Pulaski County, Missouri in 1987 and was buried in Stoutland Cemetery in Laclede County with her spouse who had died in 1960, and her parents.
