VA Death Record shows she was buried in Marshall - Her husband was also buried in Marshall in the family cemetery. So far cannot find a record for a Kemper Cemetery on Route 1, Marshall, VA.

About 3 years after his first wife's death, George F. Riley married Mary C. Kemper daughter of George E. Kemper and America (Martha A. Wright). In the 1910 US Census, it was reported that George Riley and Mary Kemper had been married for 7 years which would make their marriage date about 1903. Apparently Mary never had any children of her own, but certainly helped George raise and care for his children. Mary was obviously a very good stepmother and even with her step-grandchildren was remembered kindly.
