Married Sarah E. Funkhouser on Feb. 17, 1859, in Fayette, Twp., Vigo Co., IN. Children: Emma, Martha, Albert, Eva, William, Carrie, Nettie, Sadie, Olive, Ina, Alden, Della, Lottie, Eathel and Lola.

Will abstract from County Clerk, Vermillion Co., IN, Will Book 5, p. 242-243. 1. Sell all my property, real and personal. 2. Pay all claims against my estate. 3. Divide all remaining proceeds between my children and descendants of my deceased children. 4. I appoint my grandson Hermann C. Hedges Executor, said grandson being the son of my son William H. Hedges. If my son does not qualify, I appoint my daughter. Olive B. Welker Executrix.
