Ralph H. Sehn, 74, of the Oliver Apartments, died unexpectedly Tuesday, at the Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton.
Born in Utica, January 31, 1914, son of Fred and Ada Herpy Sehn, Mr. Sehn was a graduate of U.F.A. He married Winifred Williams in 1939. Subsequently, the couple moved to this area. Mr. Sehn was employed by the Oneida Ltd., for 25 years, retiring in 1976. A member of the Cassity Hollow Rod and Gun Club, he was also a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepard.
He leaves his wife, four sons, Ralph, Jr., of Virginia, Gerald, Deansboro, William, Oriskany Falls, John, Deansboro; four daughters, Elizabeth Conover, Calif., Jeanette Lollman, Knoxboro, Jean Hewitt, Madison, Mary Burkert, Oriskany Falls; three sisters, Mary Mahaney, Utica, Margaret Brady, Utica, Jane Gizzo, Utica; 17 grand and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m., from the James W. Davis, Jr. Funeral Home, Oriskany Falls, with burial in Knoxboro Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers friends are asked to remember the Oriskany Falls Fire Dept. Ambulance Corps. Envelopes are provided at the funeral home.
