Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Wanda Clair Peterson Allred, 70, passed away from a heart attack on Nov. 9, 1998.
Born June 27, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Alfred C. And Wanda Unck Peterson Gardner. She married Miles Allred July 18, 1947 in Salt Lake. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She had a beauty salon in her home for 25 years and she loved camping in her trailer and loved her kids and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Miles; kids, Gordon and Marilyn Allred of Herriman; Scott and Karen Allred of Las Vegas, Nevada; Rachelle "Shelly" and Rex Wilkinson of Sandy; 12 grandkids and six great-grandkids; brothers, Lloyd Peterson and Don Peterson; sister, Marylyn Pullan. Preceded in death by son, Kelly, grandchild, Mickie, parents, Alfred and Wanda, and step-father E.O. Buzz.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 13, 1998 at 12 noon in the Canyon Rim 1st Ward, 3100 East 3000 South. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South and Friday at the Ward one hour prior to the service. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
